Toilet Water

Toilet Water.

Have you ever considered how much water it takes up each flush?

If you never did, you get to know today. If the toilet your using is a modern type (water-saving) it flushes 6L of water, still a great number. However, if you still have the old type of toilets, per flush 13L or more of water is been used. This causes, a third of the water used in houses to come from the water that is being flushed down toilets.

So for all old type users, by changing the toilet to modern type with 6L per flush, it allows you to save around 54% of the water used for toilets. Such changes would allow families to save around 94,600L of water a year, an incredible amount of water.

There are also other ways you can easily save the amount of water which gets flushed, without the need of getting a new toilet. Such ways are by simply placing used water bottles inside the tank. Having two1.5L would be desirable. Allowing for a saving 3L of water per flush, also being able to reuse the plastic bottle. Or another way is by buying the inexpensive toilet dam. Saving near 4L of water per flush.

There is more than one way to save, take action with the ones that best suit your environment!
